The CAF award that is just concluded in Accra Ghana has been causing uproar and some taged it “a night of confusion”.

There is more to the Confederation of African Football ceremony in Accra Ghana that took place on thursday to football fans across the world.

Many football fans are yet to agree with the CAF best 11, Coach Godfrey Esu said asked in a chat with Guardian that ” Are there other qualities CAF sees in players that we don’t see?” .

“I am asking the question because some of us don’t really understand how CAF came about the choice of African Best 11 players without the likes of Serdio Mane of Senega, Victor Moses of Nigeria and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon on the list. I am not impressed in the choice of players made by CAF and I think some people somewhere are just playing high-level politics with African Football.

” If Victor Moses who won the English Premiere league with Chelsea 2016/2017 season, and contributed to Super Eagle’s qualification to the World cup in Russia is t consider good enough to be part of CAF best 11, it means something is wrong somewhere. CAF should explain things to us.

Mane and Aubamryang were ignore by CAF despite making the final list of CAF best player with Mane coming second behind Salah and Aubameyang third.

The players that made the list are Ali Maaloul, Ayman Mathlouthi, Ahmed Fathy, Eric Baily,  Achraf Karim Benkarchi, Junior Ajayi, Karim Ilahmandi, Muhammed Ounnajem and Khalf Bo.

The choice of Salah as the best player is also not accepted by many football fans.
