The Oyo State Governor, Governor Ajimobi has vow to appeal over the dismissal of 21 kings in Ibadan by Court.
Governor Ajimobi said the installation of the kings is to make Ibadan great.
He also said the decision is to review the Olubadan Chieftain Declaration of 1959 for the development of Ibadan land.
Governor Ajimobi makes it clear that the review was an exercise that was well plan on by the State.
The case which was table before the court was declear illegal by Justice Olajumoke.
After the judgement, Governor Ajimobi declear on Friday, Jan 19 that the State will not give up on the case.
He vow to appeal the judgement made by Ibadan High court nullifying the 21 Oba’s.
This was states by Governor Ajimobi during inauguration of classrooms donate to a Community Secondary school in Ajara Lagelu local Government Area.
The classroom was donate to the school by Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Akinlolu Olujinmi.

“Today’s judgement on the Olubadan Chieftain review will be appeal against immediately.”
“Let me reiterate here that the review wasan exercise that was well thought out.
” It is for the development and progress of Ibadan land and people therein.”
He also speak on the state determination to make Ibadan great and how;
“We will not relent in our determination to make Ibadan great and the greatness shall come through various ways;
” One of which is the Olubadan Chieftaincy review that was conducted by a judiciary “.
Governor Ajimobi also talk about the reaction of people when change that will benefit the people take place,
” The truth is that people normally oppose to change and radical policies that will eventually be beneficial to them.
“But we shall get there, we will not allow retrogressive tendency to override the progress Oyo State is making.
