The Joint Admission Matriculation Board registrar, Isaq Oloyede announced during a stakeholders meeting themed “strategic planning on the conduct of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation” that March 9 to 18 is the fixed date for 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
The registrar , Oloyede said that the mock that is scheduled to take place between January 22 and 24 has been shifted to the first week in February due to the ongoing strike of the non-teaching staff of Universities.
He said, “we are unable to access our CBT centres because most of the are in the Universities and non-teaching staff are on strike.”
“Regarding the sale of form, about 10 percent of the expected candidate have register. The number of candidate that have registered now is about 283,319.”
He also said the prohibition of material is applicable to examiners, candidates and supervisors.
“No candidates, examiners, invigilators will be allowed to enter the examination hall with wristwatch, pencil, except HB pencil and camera.”
